£60,000 community fund launched for groups in City’s Culture Mile

Grants of up to £5000 are available to community groups, charities and social enterprises in the north west of the City of London.

The Culture Mile Business Improvement District has launched the Community Fund through ActionFunder, with a commitment of £60,000.

“Through this community fund, we seek to support a breadth of local projects that drive positive social impact in the local community”.

Written and video applications can be made until August 7 2023. The application page adds:

“Applying for funding on ActionFunder is a bit different.

“Here’s the process: sign up, register your organisation and post a project you want funding for. Your project will automatically match with any funds you meet the criteria for. If you want to apply for this fund, make sure your project has the right criteria.

“Your project will remain live on the platform (ready to match with new funds) until you successfully win funding. ActionFunder’s all about saving you time so that you can get on with what matters: community action”.
